Playtech, one of the most prominent iGaming software providers, announced its new partnership with Holland Casino for a new research project in the Netherlands. This project is called “A Safe Bet” and is expected to last four years. The Playtech – Holland Casino partnership will contribute to a better design and evaluation of responsible online gambling promotion among the players.
This promotion framework will be under the regulation of Erasmus University in Rotterdam, partnering with the University of Amsterdam. The authorities will process the data from Holland Casino’s products powered by Playtech.

In this project, players’ individual needs, risk profiles, and behaviour patterns will be examined to tailor industry tools to meet those needs. The Playtech COO, Shimon Akad, expressed his satisfaction with collaborating with Holland Casino. This partnership will improve the effectiveness and use of the tools they already provide to help customers in safe gambling.
The partnership is based on identifying and evaluating new approaches based on scientific theory in collaboration with academic experts. Petra de Ruiter, the CEO of Holland Casino, also notes that she is sure that the company wants to set an example of responsible and safe gambling.
