Gold Rush Gaming and Playtech have announced a new retail sports betting partnership, enabling Playtech to enter the US retail sports betting market. Playtech will provide Gold Rush with its sports betting kiosk software and management systems throughout Ohio to achieve this goal. 

The initial rollout of 50 locations will take place ahead of Super Bowl LVII on 12 February 2023, with Gold Rush Gaming’s Illinois affiliate, Gold Rush Amusements, operating terminals in the US video gaming market.

Two years after establishing online gaming operations in the US, Playtech finally entered the retail sports betting market.

As part of this partnership with Gold Rush, Playtech will introduce its extensive experience in retail sports betting to the US market. They are confident that Ohio is the best place to start in this sector, as this is their first entry in the US in this vertical. In Ohio, Playtech will deliver self-service betting kiosks based on their expertise and strong record, according to company officials.
