The popular NHL franchise Vegas Golden Knights has signed a sponsorship deal with Betfred Sports, one of the world’s most successful iGaming operators and sports bookmakers. Betfred has been around since 1967, providing casino games and sports betting. The USA branch of Betfred has existed since 2019, and the operator keeps entering US markets. So far, Betfred has gambling licenses to provide its games to the people of Nevada, Ohio, Maryland, Iowa, Colorado, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Virginia, and Washington.
A beneficial long-term deal for all involved
This multi-year sponsorship deal will work well for both sides, considering the popularity of the Las Vegas-based hockey team and the gambling operator. Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz is thrilled with this partnership as Betfred’s US business is Vegas-born, like the team. They are excited to help Betfred launch its brand and operations in Nevada.
With this deal, Betfred and Vegas Golden Knights will team up to provide various contests to the fans at some home games. Betfred will get brand exposure on the score dashboard and LED signs at the T-Mobile Arena, as well as on the NHL team’s broadcast spaces.
Moreover, Betfred will also feature on various Golden Knights’ social media channels, email newsletters, radio and TV broadcasts, and other media outlets. The COO of Betfred Sportsbook, Bryan Bennet, said he was excited about the partnership as they prepare to open their first Las Vegas-based sportsbook partnering with Mohegan Casino at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas.
