The Kansas Lottery has declared that it will accept bets from the Kansas players starting on September 1st. The opening date is specified just before the NFL sports season 2022/23.
At the opening, there will be five sports betting platforms: FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, Caesars, BetMGM and Penn National Gaming (Barstool). Speaking of Kansas sports betting, four land casinos will be partnered with sportsbooks, more precisely: Hollywood Crossing with Barstool and FoxBet, Kansas Star Casino with FanDuel and BetMGM, Kansas Crossing with PointsBet and Caesars, and Boot Hill with Bally Bet and DraftKings.
A couple of months ago, correctly speaking in May, Governor Kelly signed bipartisan legalization for sports betting in Kansas via mobile apps and online casinos known as Senate Bill 84. This legalization allows all non-profit organizations to hold sports-betting events and accept wagers from Kansas citizens.
Also, according to the Governor, legalizing sports gambling would keep Kansans’ money in Kansas and drive business for sporting events, casinos, restaurants, and other entertainment venues. It’s always a pleasure to open a sports opportunity for every Kansas citizen to enjoy the new football season in a different way. Not just for the NFL, but all players can bet on every sport under the sun, and everything on sportsbooks offer.
We should admit that this is a giant step forward for the iGaming industry in Kansas, knowing that wagering was illegal just a couple of months ago. All this gives a spicy note to the whole sports world, allowing every player to enjoy the sports events differently and make a profit.
